On March 2016, we received an email request from Mrs. Shaima and her husband to help them to arrange Kawah Ijen hike at night for the blue flame with a little modification in the activities as they want to distribute some donation for Kawah Ijen sulfur carrier. They were really concern about their safety while working under a toxic environment without any safety requirement.
FYI - The company did not provide sulfur carrierrs any insurance and proper safety requirements, they are working with no safety equipment. The company do not responsible to them if any accident occured.
As there is no organization that able to manage and distribute the donation, Mrs. Shaima contacted us to help her about the donation. She sent the donation package to our office in Banyuwangi, then distribute them together when they arrived in Banyuwangi.
Distributed To The Village Of Kawah Ijen
There are some villages located right at the foot of Kawah Ijen where most of the sulfur carriers live. We distributed the donation as gas masks and goggles to them directly in their village as not all of them work in the same period.

Distribution At Kawah Ijen
After hiking Kawah Ijen for the blue flame, we directly went to the weighing area where most of the sulfur carrier change the voucher of the sulfur they carried already into cash. It was a simple place with a small counter officer and some small barracks which used to take some break after very hard working.
