Kawah Ijen Midnight Tour From Bali - was designed to provide travelers another options to get to Kawah Ijen from Bali. It was combining the night drive from Bali to Java, so that we do not need to stay one night at the hotel. This package is really suitable for you who had limited time and not possible to do our regular package Kawah Ijen By Night (2D/1N).

Pick up from Bali to drive to Java

Started from picking you up from Bali area in the evening around 7 PM Bali Time, the time pick up will be depend on your location in Bali. We can pick you up from Denpasar, Ubud, Pemuteran, and other favourite places in Bali. Crossing the ferry for about 45 minutes, then directly drive to Paltuding base to start your Kawah Ijen Midnight Hike for 1 hour.

Arriving at Paltuding at around 02.00 AM, have a short rest for preparing the hike while we do the registration. Start your hike trough the steep track in the dark under the moon light and stars. Arrive at the crater top we need to descent the crater for about 30 minutes walk. Beware of the narrow rocky track, please use your good shoes with proper grip to make the walk easier. See the blue fire phenomenon at the crater lake bottom and see how the sulfur mining processed.

After seeing the blue fire, we take you hike back to the top of the crater to get to panoramic view point. Here you can see the whole landscape of Kawah Ijen from the top, enjoy the spectacular view of the green acid lake. This become the best place to take a selfie photo and make a short video for your instagram feed. Fly a drone from here is also a good idea to capture the whole landscape of the area. Meet the strongest men in the earth who can carry almost 100 Kg of sulfur rocks on their shoulder only using a handmade bamboo basket. Be more respectful to them as they are not just a tourist attraction by simply say hello when you met them, sharing  a path with them, or maybe you can buy a souvenir they made for small money.

Arriving back at Paltuding parking area, have a rest for a cup of coffee to recharge you energy. Breakfast at the local restaurant on the way back to Ketapang Ferry, after having breakfast we continue crossing by ferry to Bali. Our driver will take you to your next destination in Bali.

We could pick up from almost part of Bali Region, just let us know the exact place in Bali so that we can decide the best time for the pick up time. The tour has already included ferry ticket and private drive from and  back to Bali.
