How Much Is The Ferry Cost..?

Ketapang Harbor as a crossing location to Gilimanuk Harbor means you have to meet the ferry ticket fee requirements. This price policy is the policy of the port management and the multimodal general force directorate of the Ministry of Transportation. From the results of the joint meeting, crossing rates were formed as of May 10 2021.

For adult passengers, you have to pay IDR 6,500 and children IDR 4,500. Bicycle crossings are IDR 7,500, motorbikes IDR 24,000, 500 cc motorbikes IDR 37,000 and class 4 passenger vehicles are IDR 159,000 and class 4 goods vehicles are IDR 141,000. Meanwhile, for class 5, you have to pay a crossing fee of IDR 302,000 and for class 5 goods vehicles IDR 242,000. The crossing fee for class 6 passenger vehicles is IDR 495,000 and goods vehicles in class 6 are IDR 141,000.

The step is that as a prospective ferry user, you must order a ticket first at the ASDP Indonesian Ferry section by visiting the following page: https://www.indonesiaferry.co.id. You can also buy the ticket directly at the counter which located just right at the front of the entrance.

If you are currently at this port, you need to know that the distance from the port to Gilimanuk Bali is 50 km, so if you use a ferry it can be reached in 45 minutes. You also have to know the departure schedule for the ferry on the Ketapang-Gilimanuk route, which is always there every day. The service runs every 30 minutes. The arrival schedule is adjusted to around 45 minutes after departure.

How To Get To Ketapang Ferry Port..?

To get to Ketapang Ferry from Banyuwangi city is getting easier today since Gojek and Grab has already operated few years ago. Just easily install the app and book the driver online or ask for a help of your hotel reception to book one for you. The price is varied will be depend on your location, average cost around IDR 50.000 - 70.000/Way.

The bus also available in reverse way, you could take the direct bus to Denpasar from Ketapang Ferry. There will be some buses waiting for  passengers at the ferry entrance, you can directly negotiate the price to the driver. The bus ticket mostly included the ferry ticket.

Renting a private car with a driver is also an option to be considered, travel by car will save more time and more comfortable compared by public bus as bus stop almost everywhere to pick up passengers even at the street side. We highly advise to book a private driver for family travelers with kids.
