Once you arrive at Ketapang Ferry from Bali, simply take a taxi or grab it to get to your accommodation. Grab mostly costs 50.000-70.000, note that you need to walk a few meters away from the ferry port. Grab driver can not pick you up right at the ferry exit as it is a red zone for Grab. We advise you to book accommodation which is located right in the city center. It would be perfect if you could stay close to Banyuwangi Kota Train Station. As you will hike Kawah Ijen at midnight, you will be back at your hotel roughly between 09.00-10.00 AM. Another cheaper train called Probowangi leaves Banyuwangi at 04.00 PM but we do not recommend taking this train as it will arrive at Probolinggo at 08.30 PM, you could probably find difficulties finding transport to go to Cemara Lawang.
