Description

Get picked up from your hotel in Bali, the pick up time could be varied. It depends on your hotel location and traffic condition (pick up time will be confirmed later after booking).Directly drive to Giliimanuk, note that our Bali driver will not go on the ferry he will only help you to buy the ferry ticket.

Arrive at Ketapang Ferry in Banyuwangi, our team will meet you at Alfamart Minimarket (located just in front of the ferry entrance). Drive to Banyuwangi to pick up other guests, stopover at medical clinic to get a health certificate.

Arriving at Paltuding at around 02.00 AM, have a short rest for preparing the hike while we do the registration. Start your hike through the steep track in the dark under the moonlight and stars. Arrive at the crater top we need to descend the crater for about 30 minutes. Beware of the narrow rocky track, please use your good shoes with proper grip to make the walk easier. See the blue fire phenomenon at the crater lake bottom and see how sulfur mining is processed.

After seeing the blue fire, we take you to hike back to the top of the crater to get to the panoramic viewpoint. Here you can see the whole landscape of Kawah Ijen from the top, and enjoy the spectacular view of the green acid lake. This become the best place to take a selfie photo and make a short video for your Instagram feed.

We will drop you off back to your hotel in Bali, our Bali driver will meet you at the exit gate of Gilimanuk to directly drive you back at the same hotel as picked up

Know Before You Go

• A Health Certificate is mandatory to be able to hike Kawah Ijen as this activity is not suitable for traveler with physical disabilties, breath difficulties, heart problems, and pregnant women.
• Blue Fire spot can not be visited due to government restriction so you will be only able to see the sunrise and the crater lake.
• Pick up time and pricing will be different depend on your pick up location in Bali. Note that the price is for pick up and drop off at the same location in Bali.
